Clayton Bolton is a distinguished professional with a strong academic background and a commitment to public service. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Management, with a minor in International Relations, from the University of the West Indies. He pursued further education with a Master of Science in International Public and Development Management (IPDM) from the same institution, acquiring the necessary skills to manage complex governance issues and developmental challenges.
In 2022, Clayton was honored to be one of two Jamaican fellows selected for the prestigious Community Engagement Exchange (CEE) Program. This fellowship, facilitated by the US Department of State and the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX), provided him with a unique opportunity to enhance his leadership capabilities in the United States.
The program emphasized the importance of building networks and fostering relationships to address critical societal challenges in areas such as peacebuilding, open and participatory governance, women and gender issues, sustainable development, sustainability and climate change, national development, and youth engagement. His expertise spans various areas, including public policy, research, policy writing, leadership, and project management.
